Horsemarket Riding School is launching an additional riding school service - show-jumping riding lessons, based on the classical foundations of Western European riding schools.

Coach:

Raimundas Udrakis (born 30 March 1965) - graduate of the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy (1996). Former concours rider, long-time member of the Lithuanian national team, the first and so far the only Lithuanian rider to compete in the Seoul Olympics in 1988. He has been an equestrian trainer since 2013.

He started riding training at Žagarė stud farm in 1976.

Already 4 years later (1980) he became Lithuanian junior champion, and later a two-time prize-winner of Lithuanian and then USSR championships, as well as international competitions:

  • In 1984 he was the champion of the Lithuanian junior championship and the Lithuanian Spartakiada (1985);
  • 1986 - bronze medallist in the individual event at the European Youth Championships;
  • Champion of the USSR (1987 and 1988), Champion of the USSR Spartakiad of Nations in team competition;
  • Prize-winner of the Western European League World Cup (1986-1987).
  • In 1987 Raimundas Udrakis was voted among the top ten Lithuanian athletes (9th place).
  • Since 1991 he lives and works in Germany. He has been studying horsemanship with well-known European equestrian specialists - Paul Stecken (GER), Thomas Schepers (GER), Michel Robert (FR), Gregore Wathelet (BEL) and others - famous athletes and trainers.
  • In 2006 he graduated from the Warendorf State Riding School (Germany). He is probably the only Lithuanian trainer who graduated from a western equestrian trainer school and has a diploma of equestrian trainer.
  • From 1991 to 2013 he has won more than 1300 prizes in various tournaments (from A to S*** class) during his sporting career in Germany. In 2013, he retired from his active career as an athlete and started working as a riding coach. He has coached in various clubs in Germany, Moscow, Ekaterinburg and Lithuania. With his knowledge and training he contributed to the sporting achievements of riders such as Benas Gutkauskas, Egor Shchibrik and many others.

Place:

Horsemarket Riding School is launching an additional riding school service - show-jumping riding lessons, based on the classical foundations of Western European riding schools.

Horsemarket Equestrian Service Centre. Training will take place on the outdoor riding fields and new competition fences will be used.

In case of bad weather conditions during the winter period, training will take place in the indoor arena (training schedule will be published on www.paslaugos.horsemarket.lt )

Training time:

Training will take place three times a week from 9:00 to 19:00 (outdoor training). Specific training days will be announced weekly (www.paslaugos.horsemarket.lt) for the following week's training cycle.

Lesson duration:

Approximately 60 minutes. Training is always individual - all the time is dedicated to one rider.

Prices:

60 EUR- a rider with a horse;

50 EUR - or owners of horses in the Horsemarket stables

Arrival with horses:

For those arriving with horses, vehicles can be parked in the "temporary stables" area and are free to use:

- Electricity for your vehicle - there is an electricity supply;

- To water or bathe your horse, there are outdoor showers and water taps;

- Clean your car - there is a muck room next to the parking area;

- Before or after your horse training, you can take a walk in the park, where there are riding trails;

We can offer you to buy fodder - hay and Royal Horse fodder (we will bring it to your car).

A prerequisite for those arriving with horses-  have a horse passport with valid vaccinations (flu vaccine required!).

An accompanying person to help the rider on the square is desirable.
